What a joy it was to discover these cute little vegetables waiting for me in my office at work on Monday. They were lined up in a row by my keyboard - so fun!
A dear friend gave them to me because her mom was going to get rid of them! I don't know how she could part with them, they're so cute! They were bought in Japan about 25 years ago.
I'm not exactly sure what they are - if you remove the top part, you could put a soft or hard boiled-egg in there. Or some candy treats. Or a very small bit of soup.
For now, they're on display in our dining room cabinet.
