Chick-Fil-Aaaaaaaaaa!

You have to sing that last part: Chick-fil-Aaaaaaaaaaa!

First, I have to thank my friend Autumn for introucing me to Chick-Fil-A. She mentioned that they had sweet tea, which was enough to sell me all on its own, but then she talked me into ordering their nugget meal and that's when I discovered their waffle fries. Dip them into the buttermilk ranch sauce and it's a little slice of heaven on earth. I always order the same thing and its always fantastic.

I had a coupon for a free meal so I ran (literally) in to my local Chik-Fil-A today and was impressed more than I usually am.

Today it is absolutely pouring rain. With huge gusts of wind. An absolute deluge. But the store manager was standing sentinel outside the restaurant with two huge red umbrellas, ready to escort guests to and from their cars so that they could fully enjoy their time in his restaurant. His pant legs were soaked to the knee and his arms were literally dripping wet but he was cheerful and smiling as he walked me to my car and held my door and then responded with the Chick-Fil-A trademark, "My pleasure!" when I thanked him for his help.

In an otherwise dreary day, lunch was a sunny spot.
