There's no such thing as an "easy hem" to me.

My success of the day: hemming new curtains in the guest room.
The curtains are from Ikea so they come with that iron-on-hem strip stuff that is supposed to be oh-so-super-easy. Yeah... unless you're cutting off four feet of fabric and have difficulty making straight lines in the first place!
It was quite a process and probably took me a lot longer than those Swedish designers ever expected but here they are, new and improved, hemmed and re-hung.


Much better than this bunched up mess - although LongCat doesn't seem to mind...
